WHAT I DO: I am a Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO).
WHAT MAKES ME UNIQUE: I began my career in the Marine Corps as a Communication Operations Officer (Captain) where I managed secure networks and systems for the 3d Marine Infantry Division in Southeast Asia. I have continued to focus on improving my clients' cybersecurity posture and network optimization in positions at AT&T, CERFnet, Electric Lightwave (ELI), Gilberts Communications, Infonet (BT), MCI, Novacoast, Level 3 & Qwest (Lumen), Spectrum Enterprise, SubRosa Cyber, XO, TCG, and Optiv.
MY APPROACH: My approach is based on always exercising a high level of integrity, moral character, attention to detail, and common sense to provide Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCISO) services that leverage my 30+ years of experience to ensure my clients trust their cybersecurity problems are being managed in the best way possible.
INDUSTRY EXPERTISE: Over the past 30+ years, I have focused on creating cybersecurity solutions that address unique client business, technical, legal, network, and security challenges. I continuously stay abreast of business, cybersecurity, and legal developments that may affect my clients' interests. Accordingly, I have earned Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science (MS) in Cybersecurity, and Juris Doctor (JD) degrees that help me understand client business, cybersecurity, and associated legal challenges and help ensure my clients achieve the best possible cybersecurity posture.
